Faced with market challenges and a lack of coordination across supply and creative chains, Việt Nam’s handicraft export value in 2024 is expected to reach only US$2 billion.
The Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta province of Tien Giang has established 14 handicraft cooperatives with nearly 2,000 members and d jobs for nearly 5,300 workers.
The country’s fine art and handicraft exports experienced a significant increase of 50 per cent to reach US$45 million in May, according to statistics from the General Department of Customs.
